Teacher Spotlight: Welcome, Shelby!

Shelby Otis is another young teacher I will be interviewing for the project. She got her undergraduate degree at Nazareth in Rochester, and she currently teaches in the Rochester City School District at School 20 (Henry Lomb). Last year she taught 6th grade, but this year she's teaching kindergarten in a 12-1-1 special education classroom. We'll be talking to her about her teaching experience and how she manages her classroom, and what she's noticed is different about teaching brand new learners vs. 6th graders.
